August 27 is the scheduled open for the re-styled Matakauri Lodge in Queenstown, New Zealand, interior-designed by Virginia Fisher (who also designed Huka Lodge and Grand Provence in SA ). Matakauri was acquired last year by US billionaire Julian Robertson who also owns the sublime Kauri Cliffs in Northland and the much-awarded Cape Kidnappers, Hawkes Bay both renowned for their golf courses and their luxurious accommodation.
