Changing of the guard in Sydney

Now we're not usually ones to mention a change of GM, not unless they are very special. However The Luxury Travel Bible is a great fan of the charming and inspirational Stephen Lewis who was General Manager of the Four Seasons Hotel Sydney for 16 years and has just retired. We extend a big welcome to the new GM Vincent Hoogewijs who comes from Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai, which he successfully opened in early 2009. Mr Hoogewijs is only the hotel's third GM. The hotel's founding GM (then under The Regent banner) was the legendary Ted Wright, who stayed for 29 years.
